HEILBORN, Sylvia - of Saginaw, age 95, died Sunday, May 20, 2018 at Community Village in Saginaw. Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, May 24, 2018 at Reitz Herzberg Funeral Home. Pastor Daryl Franzel officiating. Burial in Roselawn Cemetery. The family will receive visitors on Wednesday from 4-8 PM at the funeral home and on Thursday from 10am until time of service. Memorial contributions can be made to Community Village or American Hospice. Sylvia was born September 25, 1922 in Koudum, Netherlands to the late Clarence and Edith (DeYoung) Venema. She then grew up in Lowell, Michigan and attended Lowell Public Schools. On December 4, 1946 she married William Heilborn and he preceded her in death on March 3, 1997. Sylvia enjoyed playing bingo and spending time with her family. Surviving are: Children, Robert (Carolyn) Heilborn, Carol (Bill) Burger; Daughter in law, Tammy (Jeff) Schiller; Grandchildren, Tabatha (Reuben) Stence, Jeff (Gerry) Craigie, Heidi (Dave) Leggett, Nicole (Tim) Meiners, Tiffany Craigie, Billy Heilborn, Marc Heilborn, Heather Heilborn, Jimmy (Cori) Heilborn; several Great Grandchildren; Siblings, Gertrude Hendricks, Mary Smith; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband William; Sons, Chester Heilborn, James Heilborn, Harold Heilborn; Grandson, Christopher Heilborn; Siblings, Pete, Maynard, Fred, Margaret, Geneive, Jeanette.   7. I am grieved to hear of the lose of my sweet aunt. I spent some wonderful summers with the family-I am joyous, however, that she has joined Uncle Bill, and my Mom and Dad in Heaven–she is pain free, and sitting at the feet of Jesus–she exemplified the Bibical Christian mom and wife—Carol and Bob–so sorry for your loss–my love and prayers go with you during this time of bereavment–God bless!-Love-Marcy
