Terrance "Terry" Isaac Fisher

Terrance “Terry” Isaac Fisher, 69, of Bay City, our loving and hardworking husband, father, Papa, brother, uncle, and friend passed away on the evening of February 20, 2018 at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit. Terry was born on April 6, 1948 in Cheboygan, the son of the late Charles and Doris (Rocheleau) Fisher. Terry served in the U.S. Marine Corps during Vietnam from 1966-1969. He later attended Lake Superior State University and went on to become a credit union executive for 40 years. While in high school, Terry met the former Debra Frasure; they were united in marriage on December 28, 1968 in Newberry, sharing 49 wonderful years and three amazing children. Those who knew Terry, will always remember his love of the Detroit Lions, through good times and bad. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing, golfing, afternoon rides, and spending time with his family and grandchildren. Terry leaves to cherish his memory, his wife Debra; their children, Rob (Lori) Fisher, Patti (Rob McGowan) Fisher, and Mike Fisher. He was the most wonderful and loving Papa of Sarah (Kevin) Roland, Rebecca McLaurin, Matt Fisher, Zach Fisher, and Elly Fisher. Also surviving are his great-grandchildren, Skylar Roland and Kendall Roland; siblings, Jim Fisher, Gerry (Darlene) Fisher, and Randy (Mindy) Fisher; sister-in-law, Dee Dee Frasure, along with many nieces, nephews, and friends. In addition to his parents, Terry was welcomed home to heaven by his in-laws, Matt and Marilyn Frasure. Terry’s family will be present to receive visitors on Monday, February 26, 2018 from 10:00 AM until Terry’s 11:00 AM Memorial Ceremony at Grace United Methodist Church, 4267 Two Mile Rd., Bay City. Rev. Eric Kieb will officiate with military honors to follow. Memorial contributions may be directed to the church. Expressions of sympathy may be shared with the family online at www.skorupskis.com.
