Terry Lee Thayer, 65, of Hampton Township, our caring and hardworking husband, father, grandpa, brother, uncle, and friend was born into eternal life on the morning of Saturday, August 20, 2016 at McLaren Bay Region. Terry was born in Bay City on February 20, 1951, the son of Herbert and Amelia (Garcia) Thayer. While at McDonald’s one day, he met a lady by the name of Sandra Migut. They dated, fell in love, and were united in marriage on January 31, 1970. Terry had a love for his Harley and enjoyed weekend bike trips. In his younger years he was known for his love of off roading. Terry recently retired from General Motors – Grey Iron Foundry on April 1, 2016 after forty-six years of dedicated service.
