Thomas “Cody” Kasper, 27, of Bay City, our funny, smart, helpful, and most kind son, brother, uncle, and friend passed away on the morning of Sunday, May 12, 2019 at his home, surrounded by his loving and supportive family. Cody was born in Saginaw on November 13, 1991, the son of Thomas Kasper, Jr. and the former Patrice Young. He attended Washington Elementary, Handy Middle School, and was a 2010 graduate of Bay City Central High School. Cody had a five-year career with Kroger, where he started rounding up carts and ascended to the role of frozen food stock manager. He was a member of the United Food and Commercial Workers Local 876 and enjoyed spending time with friends, listening to music, watching movies, along with playing pool and baseball. Cody loved animals, especially his cat, Polly. He leaves to cherish his memory, his mother, Patrice Kasper and father, Thomas Kasper; sister, Stacy Kasper; nephew, Ethan, along with many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Cody was welcomed home to heaven by his maternal grandparents, Daryl & Joan Young; paternal grandparents, Robert & Jackie Robinson, and sister, Sara Kasper. Cody’s family will be present to receive visitors on Friday, May 17, 2019 from 2:00 PM until Cody’s 6:30 PM Life Celebration at Skorupski Family Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 955 N. Pine Rd., Hampton Twp. The Rite of Committal will be held privately at Calvary Cemetery, Kawkawlin. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the wishes of the family. Expressions of sympathy may be shared with the family online at www.skorupskis.com.

  8. Tom was the most charismatic guy I’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting. His stories always were over the top and he was a great story teller (he would get real passionate). His smile could always be seen. He was and always will be a sweetheart. Thankfully, he left us all, with many memories that we shared a laugh and a smile with him. Tom was truly one of a kind.
