Viola Francis Jasman, 90, of Bay City, our kind and loving mother, grandmother and sister was born into eternal life on the morning of Friday, November 1, 2013 at Bay Special Care Hospital. Viola was born in Bay City on July 31, 1923, the daughter of the late William and Hazel (Lamere) Hubbard. On August 9, 1941, Viola was united in marriage to her loving husband, Joseph W. Jasman. Viola worked for several years at McLaren Bay Region, spending the majority of her time in the medical records department. She was a faithful and active parishioner of St. Maria Goretti Church, where she will be deeply missed. As someone who greatly cared about others, Viola's genuine ways will live on in the hearts of her family and friends for generations to come. Also surviving are twelve grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and one great-great granddaughter, along with her siblings, Lillian "Bonnie" Luxton and Edward Hubbard and sisters-in-law, Amy Zadonia and Patricia Hubbard. In addition to her parents, Viola was welcomed home to heaven by her husband, Joseph after sixty nine years of marriage; son, Jerome Jasman, along with four sisters and two brothers.
