Walter A. Pagel

Passed away Sunday, September 2, 2012. Age 87 years. Walter Arthur Pagel was born December 15, 1924 in Saginaw and was raised by Albert and Martha (Diedrich) Pagel. Walter worked for Saginaw Products Corp. for over 30 years. He served his country in the U.S. Army, and later in the U.S. Air Force. Surviving are one daughter Diana Niemeyer, one son Walter Pagel, Jr., grandchildren; Kimberly Hernandez, Jim Pagel, Cathy (Pagel), and Kirk Pagel, and 12 great grandchildren. He was predeceased by Joyce Lane in 2008.Funeral service will take place 2 PM Thursday September 6, 2012 at the Reitz Herzberg Funeral Home, 1550 S. Midland Rd (S-M47). Pastor Mike Kemper will officiate with interment to follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Military honors will take place at the cemetery. Friends and family are welcome to gather at the funeral home on Thursday from 10 AM until the time of service. Memorial offerings are suggested to the charity of your choice.
