Beatrice Virginia Cnudde

Beatrice Virginia Cnudde, 89, of Essexville, our loving, kind, warm and generous mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt and loyal friend passed away on Thursday, March 3, 2022 at McLaren Bay Region. Beatrice was born on May 21, 1932 to the late Simone and Sophie (Sudol) Capp in Standish. Beatrice was united in marriage to the love of her life, Donald “Spike” Lawrence Cnudde, on June 19, 1954 in Bay City. Beatrice was employed for a short time as a cook at Verellen Elementary School. Beatrice’s life work was a devoted housewife, who loved taking care of her family. In addition to taking care of her family, she enjoyed reading, doing puzzles, playing Bingo and cards, painting, and crocheting. Beatrice was also an avid walker. Left to cherish Beatrice’s memory are her children, Julie (Rich) MacMillan, Dawn (David) Southern, and Alane (Rick) Ringle; grandchildren, Rachelle Schikorra, Renee (Ken) Arnold, David Southern II, Michael (Cindy) Southern, Ryan (Adva) Ringle and Toni Richmond; great-grandchildren, Riley and Lauren Schikorra, Marin, Claire and Carly Arnold, Jackson, Lucas, Elliott, Dallas and Sophia Southern, and Chase Richmond; along with many nieces, nephews, and friends. In addition to her parents, Beatrice was welcomed home by her loving husband, Donald Cnudde; brothers, Stanley, Edward, Frank, Andrew, Joseph, John, Chester, and Carl, and sisters, Helen, Martha, Lillian, Catherine, Anna, and Dorothy. Private arrangements have been entrusted to Skorupski Family Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 821 N. Pine Rd., between Ridge and Center.
