December 10, 1983 - June 9, 2021
Brett Allen Beiser, 37, of Saginaw Twp., formerly of Bay City, our courageous, brave warrior, inspirational, most wonderful and larger-than-life husband, dada, son, brother, uncle, cousin, and fiercely loyal friend was born into eternal life on Wednesday, June 9, 2021 at Covenant – Harrison in Saginaw after a brave four-year battle with cancer, with his devoted family by his side. Brett was born in Bay City on December 10, 1983, the son of Thomas Carl and Mary Margaret (Fournier) Beiser. He was a 2002 graduate of Western High School and went on to work in the beverage industry; first with Pepsi, then Coca-Cola, and most recently with Monster Energy, where Brett was the well-respected Region Manager, even winning an award for his public speaking. While at a first birthday party and through mutual friends, Brett happened to meet Carolyn Gottschalk. It was love at first sight and they were united in marriage on August 17, 2013. Although their time together was short, Brett and Carolyn built a beautiful life together. Brett enjoyed golfing and was very into fitness and working out. He loved to run 5k’s, enjoyed hunting in Alpena, and was a lover of anything water-related; be it boating, spending time at the beach in Port Austin, or swimming with his daughter. A true people person and wonderful entertainer, Brett’s garage, “Uncle Snake’s Bar & Grill” was a favorite hangout for all. Brett was a wonderful father and husband. His magnetic personality, hilarious sense of humor, infectious smile and beautiful blue eyes would light up any room he entered; Heaven certainly became a little brighter on June 9, 2021. Brett always put the needs of others before his own. After his cancer diagnosis, he was always lending a helping hand with his charitable fundraising efforts for other less fortunate patients or his listening ear and encouraging words to those walking his same journey. He will be deeply missed, yet lovingly remembered for generations to come. Brett leaves to carry on his legacy, his loving wife, soulmate, and best friend, Carolyn; his two-year old daughter, Brielle; another daughter on the way (expected in August); parents, Tom and Mary Beiser; brother, Carl (Caitlyn) Beiser; niece, Claire Beiser; nephews, Caleb Beiser and Jakob Sera; brother from-another-mother, Zach Martin, along with many aunts, uncles, cousins, and countless friends. Brett was welcomed home to heaven by his father-in-law and best bud, Daniel Francis Gottschalk, and all of his grandparents. Brett’s family will be present to receive visitors on Sunday, June 13, 2021 from 12:00 Noon until 6:00 PM and again on Monday, June 14, 2021 from 10:00 AM until Brett’s 11:00 AM Life Celebration at Skorupski Family Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 821 N. Pine Rd., between Ridge & Center. Fr. Dale Orlik will officiate with the Rite of Committal to follow in Floral Gardens Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be directed to the wishes of the family, c/o Carolyn Beiser, to be used for the benefit of Brett’s children. The entire family wishes to extend a heartfelt thanks to Brett’s family at Monster Energy, the staff at the Cancer Care Center at Covenant, and Dr. Thor Halfdanarson with the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN. Expressions of sympathy may be shared with the family online at www.skorupskis.com.
