Donald Keith LaCross, Jr., 56, of Essexville, our strong, outgoing, wise, and sometimes stubborn father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle, and friend passed away on Sunday, May 24, 2020 at his home. Don was born in Bay City on August 12, 1963, the son of Donald Keith and Joyce (LaPlaunt) LaCross, Sr. He was a proud member of the Sault Ste. Marie Chippewa Indian Tribe and loved playing the guitar. Don is survived by his mother, Joyce LaCross; children, Michael K. LaCross (Amanda Pfundt), Jason Chamberlain (Monica), Sarah Chamberlain, Jessica LaCross, Donnie “Junior” LaCross, and Jacqueline LaCross; grandchildren, Landen & Alaynah LaCross; Joseph, Logan, Kaylee, Jay Jay, Angel, and Carly Chamberlain; Stariana, Seconia, and Marcus “Junior” LaCross; and Johnny, Jennah, and Jada Hodder; siblings, Anthony Joseph LaCross (Patti Ouelette) and Mark (Ruth) LaCross, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Don was welcomed home to heaven by his father, Donald K. LaCross, Sr.; former spouse, Robin Chamberlain; daughter, Kimberly Ann LaCross; granddaughter, MyahLee LaCross; brother, Richard LaCross; step-dad, Allen Cato; cousin, Steven Leo LaPlaunt, and many more family and friends. Private arrangements have been entrusted to Skorupski Family Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 821 N. Pine Rd., between Ridge & Center.
