Ethelyn Mae Rosinski

August 7, 1943 - February 10, 2022

Ethelyn Mae Rosinski, 78, of Bay City, our loving and spunky mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend passed away on Thursday, February 10, 2022 at McLaren Bay Region, surrounded by her loving family. Ethelyn was born in Bay City on August 7, 1943, the daughter of the late Roy and Dorothy (Tate) Poirier. Throughout life, Ethelyn was known for her love of decorating and catering. Always one to go over-the-top, Ethelyn was known for her wonderful entertaining and hospitality. Her love for her family and friends was unwavering, and her memory will live on for generations to come. To carry on her legacy, Ethelyn leaves behind her children, Ron (Jill) Rychwa, John (Donna) Rychwa, Shelby (Rick) Kuch, and Larry (Melissa) Rosinski, Jr.; grandchildren, Jason, Nicole, Eric, Tanner, Calan, Alexis, and Nicole; great-grandchildren, Helen and Jack, along with several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Ethelyn was welcomed home to Heaven by her husbands, Ronald Rychwa, Larry Rosinski, and Richard Jaskiewicz; daughter, Cindy Rychwa; daughter-in-law, JoAnn (Kaczmarek) Rychwa; granddaughter, Megan (Rychwa) Szczepanik; sister, Sandra (Harlan) Hoult, and brother, LeRoy Poirier. Ethelyn’s family will be present to receive visitors on Thursday, February 17, 2022 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM with a 6:00 PM Tribute Ceremony, followed by a reception, at Skorupski Family Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 821 N. Pine Rd., between Ridge & Center. Ethelyn’s nephew, Pastor Mark Hoult, will preside. Inurnment will be held privately in St. Stanislaus Kostka Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be directed to The Megan Mae Foundation (www.themeganmaefoundation.org). Expressions of sympathy may be shared with the family online at www.skorupskis.com.
