Felipe Vasquez

Felipe Vasquez, 41, of Saginaw, our loving, generous, outgoing, hard-working father, son, brother, uncle, passed away unexpectedly on February 14, 2021. Felipe was born on September 9, 1979 in Saginaw, Michigan to Mario Francisco and the late Sanjuana (Delgado) Vasquez. Felipe graduated from Arthur Hill High School in 1998 and went on to attend Delta College majoring in Construction Management. He completed a four-year apprenticeship through the Carpenter’s Union and became a Journeyman Carpenter and plumber. Felipe was an entrepreneur and a proud business owner. Felipe enjoyed camping, games and spending time with family and friends. He was a great cook and he loved to make people laugh. Felipe leaves to carry his legacy, his children, Alyssa and Austin Vasquez; siblings, Mario Francisco (Erica) Vasquez Jr., Simon (Lisa) Vasquez, Diana Westhaus, Eva (Emerson) Teeple and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Felipe was preceded in death by his mother, Sanjuana Vasquez. The family will be present to receive visitors on Saturday, February 20, 2021 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Skorupski Family Funeral Home & Cremation Services (formerly Reitz-Herzberg), 1550 Midland Rd., between State & Gratiot until his Funeral Ceremony at 11:00 AM. Pastor Steven Lang will be officiating.
