Frank George Stehle II Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Frank George Stehle II, 74, of Hampton Twp., our hardworking and devoted husband, dad, grandpa, brother, uncle, and friend passed away on Thursday, June 30, 2022 at Covenant HealthCare – Harrison. Frankie was born in Bay City on October 1, 1947, the son of the late Frank George and Loretta (Neetz) Stehle. He was a 1964 graduate of Central High School and went on to attend Michigan State University, graduating in 1966 with an Associate Degree in Agriculture Science. While at Bay Lanes, Frankie happened to meet the former Cheryl Reynolds. They dated, fell in love, and were united in marriage on October 6, 1973 at Faith Lutheran Church in Bay City. Their 48 years were blessed with two children and countless memories. A devoted farmer to the end, Frankie was the proud owner and operator of Stehle Farms. For many years, he enjoyed farming and growing bedding plants for everyone. An expert delegator, Frankie was the only person in the township with a sunburn on his finger from all the pointing he did. In his free time, Frankie enjoyed deer hunting. His legacy will live on in the hearts of his family for generations to come. To carry on his legacy, Frankie leaves his faithful wife, Cheryl Stehle, and their two children, Luke (Kelly) Stehle and Jill (Matthew) Wilkinson; grandchildren, Michael, Tyler, Kaydence, Conner, and Eliana; step-granddaughter, Madelyne; sister, Barbie (Keith) Prueter; nephews, John Prueter and Andrew (Gabrielle) Prueter; uncle, Larry Neetz, along with many cousins. In addition to his parents, Frankie was preceded in death by his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Doran “Mike” and Wilma Reynolds. Frankie’s family will be present to receive visitors on Wednesday, July 6, 2022 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Skorupski Family Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 821 N. Pine Rd., between Ridge & Center. On Thursday, July 7, 2022, Frankie will be taken to Bethel Lutheran Church, 749 N. Pine Rd., where visiting will continue from 10:00 AM until Frankie’s 11:00 AM Funeral Ceremony. Rev. Michael Killinger will preside with cremation to follow.
