Gary Alan Dahlbeck Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Gary Alan Dahlbeck, 71, of Rose City, formerly of Essexville, our faithful and beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend was born into eternal life in the morning of Tuesday, June 7, 2022, at his home. Gary was born in Seattle, Washington on September 15, 1950, the son of the late Gordon Dahlbeck and Marie (Russeff) Gjersee. He graduated with two associate degrees in robotics and biology. Gary proudly served in the United States Navy until his honorable discharge on November 7, 1972. He worked as a Lab Technician for Dow Chemical and Dow Corning for many years. Gary and Cathy Ehlers were united in marriage on July 11, 1982. He loved spending time with the Lord, woodworking, learning history, marine science, cars, and shooting guns with his sons and grandkids. To carry on his legacy, Gary leaves his beloved wife of 40 years, Cathy Dahlbeck; children, Erin (Ken) Wilson, Tiffany Tousignant, Jeremy (Lauren) Dahlbeck, Cory Dahlbeck, and Jason Dahlbeck; grandchildren, Andrew Tousignant, Paige Dahlbeck, Nathan Wilson, Brady Tousignant, Israel Wilson, Jesse Wilson, and Marshall Reed, and sisters, Linda (Jim) Culbertson, Jan (Ron) Rosenkranz and Diane (Dan) Levin. In addition to his parents, Gary was preceded in death by his step-father, Edwin Gjersee; and sister, Christy Dahlbeck. Gary's family will be present to receive visitors on Tuesday, June 14, 2022, from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM and again on Wednesday, June 15, 2022, from 11:00 AM until Gary's 1:00 PM Funeral Ceremony at Skorupski Family Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 821 N. Pine Rd., between Ridge & Center. Pastor Gabriel Villarreal will preside with Military Honors taking place. Private interment will take place in Oak Ridge Cemetery.
