Gary Wayne Lee

Gary Wayne Lee, 67, of Bay City, our humorous and most loving husband, father, papa, son, brother, uncle, and loyal friend was born into eternal life on the morning of Tuesday, January 25, 2022 at Covenant HealthCare – Cooper. Gary was born in Bay City on August 31, 1954. While playing a gig at Trapper’s Lounge in Standish, Gary happened to meet a young lady by the name of Carol Forro. They dated, fell in love, and were united in marriage on August 2, 1980 at St. Mark’s Catholic Church in AuGres. Gary was a talented musician. He loved his guitar and enjoyed singing, computer technology, and video games. Gary was a “Jack of All Trades” who will forever be remembered for his unwavering love for his family and lifelong love of music. To carry on his legacy, Gary leaves his wife of 41 years, Carol Lee; children, Gary (Mary) Lee, Thomas (Stephanie) Lee, Jeffrey Lee, and Laura (Bruno) Lee-Veloso; father, Robert J. Lee; grandchildren, who were the lights of his life, Peyton, Pierson, Olivia, Noah, Emma, Elizabeth, Elijah, Eden, and Erik; brothers, Robert (Merry) Lee and Dennis (Vicki) Lee, along with many nieces, nephews, and friends. Gary was preceded in death by his mother, Elaine (LaFond) Lee, sister, Leora Apsey and brother-in-law, Lawrence Apsey. Gary’s family will be present to receive visitors on Thursday, January 27, 2022 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM with a 7:00 PM Rosary at Skorupski Family Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 821 N. Pine Rd., between Ridge & Center. On Friday, January 28, 2022, Gary will be taken to Our Lady of Czestochowa Parish (St. Stanislaus Kostka Church), 1503 Kosciuszko Ave., Bay City, where visiting will continue from 1:00 PM until his 2:00 PM Funeral Liturgy. Fr Dale Orlik will preside with cremation to follow. Memorial contributions may be directed to the wishes of the family or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
