Ginger Ann Burton, 66, of Freeland, our kind and loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend passed away suddenly on Friday, April 30, 2021 at her home. Ginger was born in Saginaw on October 3, 1954, the daughter of the late Kenneth and Colleen (Brown) Partlow. On March 13, 1971, she was united in marriage to Steven Burton. Their marriage was blessed with three children and countless memories. Ginger worked in housekeeping and retired from St. Francis Home. In her free time, she enjoyed bowling, bingo, and an occasional trip to the casino. Ginger will be deeply missed, yet lovingly remembered for years to come. To carry on her legacy, Ginger leaves behind her husband of 50 years, Steven and their children, Steven (Nicole) Burton, Jr. and Heather Burton (Matthew); grandchildren, Dylan Burton, Sophia Burton, Colten Burton, Aubrey Church, and Ayden Aguirre; siblings, Matt (Shelly) Partlow, Ted (Cathy) Partlow, Tod (Esther) Partlow, Judy Carrigan, Kay Munson, along with many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Ginger was welcomed home to heaven by her son, David Burton; brothers, Robert and Mike Partlow; sisters, Linda and Anne Partlow, and Barb Winchell. Ginger's family will be present to receive visitors on Thursday, May 6, 2021 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM and again on Friday, May 7, 2021 from 11:00 until Ginger's 12:00 PM Life Celebration at Skorupski Family Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 1550 Midland Rd., between State & Gratiot. Interment will be held in Eastlawn Memorial Gardens. Memorial contributions may be directed to the wishes of the family.
