Jacob Edward Treib Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Jacob Edward Treib, 54, of Saginaw Twp., our fiercely loyal, fun and caring father, brother, uncle, and friend passed away on Sunday, June 26, 2022, at Covenant HealthCare Harrison. Jacob was born on June 6, 1968, the son of the late David and Denia Jo (Cravero) Treib. Jacob, or “Shaker,” as he was lovingly known by his family and friends, graduated from Swan Valley High School and went on to Central Michigan where he earned his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. Jacob had an entrepreneurial mind and owned several businesses over the years. In his spare time, Jacob enjoyed the outdoors and loved boating, fishing, and spending time behind the grill with family and friends. He enjoyed cheering on anything having to do with U of M, especially football, and the Red Wings. He leaves to carry on his legacy, his son, Brendan; brother, Matthew (Heather) Treib; nieces, Shauna, Isabella and Abigail Treib; goddaughter, Amelia Treib; sister-in-law, Teresa Treib; best friend, Susie Hyde, and his beloved German Shepherd, Maxie. Along with his parents, Jacob was preceded in death by his brother, David Treib. Jacob's family will be present to receive visitors on Wednesday, July 6, 2022 from 3:00 PM until his 6:00 PM Memorial Ceremony at Skorupski Family Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 1550 Midland Rd., between State & Gratiot.
