Jessiqua Niquole Hudecek, our courageous, sassy, astonishing fighter passed away peacefully on June 13, 2021, with her family at her side. Jessiqua was born on January 3, 2001, to Chris and Anna (Minor) Hudecek in Saginaw, Michigan. Jessiqua attended and graduated from Swan Valley High School in 2019. Jessiqua loved camping, soccer, track, family, pets, reading, crafting and adventures. She learned to ride her bike while camping. Jessiqua enjoyed hiding from the guards at the river and picking up cans while floating down the river. She learned how to pole vault in high school. Her last adventure was para-sailing. Jessiqua had a love of Halloween, skiing, sledding, board games, outdoor games, water parks, swimming and tubing down the river. She was part of the Girl Scouts, Swan Valley Pay It Forward, Ducks Unlimited, Sturgeon Creek Beagle Club and volleyball. Jessiqua was awarded the Turn Around and Achievement Award and Scholarship. Her greatest accomplishment was life itself, which included graduating High School and her courageous 6-year fight with brain cancer, which she fought with might, strength and courage. Jessiqua’s memory will go on through her loving parents, Chris and Anna; brother, Sean-Ryan Hudecek; grandparents, Marylou and James Hudecek and Joann Minor; her aunts and uncles, Julie (Chris) Pangborn, Lori Remer, Brent (Christi) Hudecek; her cousins, Amanda Minor, Bailey Pangborn, Michael Hudecek, Caitlin Hudecek, and Joshua Hudecek; and her best friend, Vala Harrison.
