Judith Ursula Beson
May 28, 1941 - March 19, 2022
Judith Ursula Beson, 80, of Kawkawlin, our spunky, generous, adventurous, and most loving mother, grandmother and loyal friend was born into eternal life on Saturday, March 19, 2022 at her home with her family by her side. Judith was born on May 28, 1941 to the late Edmond and Blanche (Krakowski) Bond in Bay City. She graduated from St. James High School. Judith continued her education at Delta College, becoming a Licensed Practical Nurse. Touching the lives of countless patients through the years, Judith retired in 1981 from McLaren Bay Region. Judith married Richard Lee in 1959. Sadly, Richard predeceased her in 1963. While at her ten-year class reunion, Judith reconnected with David Beson. They dated, fell in love, and were united in marriage on July 24, 1971. Judith was a devout Catholic and lifelong parishioner of St. Catherine of Siena Parish, where she was involved in the funeral luncheons for many years. In her free time, Judith enjoyed frequenting estate sales and time spent up north at the family cabin in Kalkaska. She loved everything about being outside and nature, especially flowers and springtime. Her kind and loving ways will live on in the hearts of her family and friends for years to come. To carry on her legacy, Judith leaves her children, Lisa (Bruce) Lake and Kevin (Christine) Lee; grandchildren, Ryan (Laura) Sleeper, Jennifer (Brent) Walsh, Jacob (Josie) Lake, McKenzie Lee (Travis Traynor), and Kevin Beson; four great-grandchildren, and sister-in-law, Barbara Bond. In addition to her parents and her first husband, Judith was predeceased by her second husband, David, on April 6, 2018, grandson, Hunter Lee; stepson, Jim Beson, and brother, Allan Bond. Judith’s family will be present to receive visitors on Tuesday, March 22, 2022 from 4:00 PM until her 7:00 PM Vigil, followed by a Rosary at Skorupski Family Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 821 N. Pine Rd., between Ridge and Center. Memorial contributions may be directed to the wishes of the family. Expressions of sympathy may be shared online at www.skorupskis.com
