Kristin Joy Hatfield Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Kristin Joy Hatfield, 38, of Kawkawlin, our strong, caring, beautiful, smart and most loving mom, daughter, sister and loyal friend was born into eternal life on Tuesday, May 31, 2022 at McLaren Flint with her family by her side. Kristin was born on December 7, 1983 to Randy Hatfield and Tamera Stottlemyer in Saginaw. Growing up, she loved playing with her best friend, Trista, especially going sledding in the snow. Kristin loved to go camping, and was most fond of her trips to Smoke Rise and to West Virginia with her parents and sister, Allison. Kristin attended Delta College, and then later graduated from Cosmetology School. Kristin worked for many years in retail. She loved going fishing and attending Detroit Tiger games. Kristin especially loved getting her nails done with her girls and spending time with her dogs, Apollo and Ralphie. Little in this world was more important to Kristin than her daughters; she was incredibly proud and honored to be their mother. Kristin dealt with a lot of difficulties over the last few years, but her beautiful, kind and selfless soul will live on in the hearts of many for years to come. Leaving to carry on Kristin’s legacy are her daughters, Arianna Caitlyn Green and Aaliyah Nicole Green; her beloved companion of 20 years, David Green; her parents, Randy (Laura) Hatfield and Tamera (John) Stottlemyer; her grandparents, Virgle and Doris Hatfield, and Ralph and Mary Reinke; her half-siblings, Amanda Raymaker, Brandon (Jordan) Maciejewski, Taylor Neuenfeldt, and Allison Smith; her father-in-law, Kenneth Green, along with many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Kristin was welcomed home to Heaven by her mother-in-law, Nancy Green. Kristin’s family will be hosting a Memorial Service on Sunday, June 5, 2022 at 12:00 PM (Noon) at Faith Evangelical Lutheran Church, 4432 Mackinaw Rd., between Shattuck & Weiss. Final arrangements have been entrusted to Skorupski Family Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 821 N. Pine Rd., between Ridge & Center.
