Lillian Dorthia Haenlein Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Lillian Dorthia Haenlein, 91, of Saginaw our loving and devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, went to be her with Lord on Sunday, November 22nd, 2020. Lillian was born on July 1st, 1929 in Silverwood, Michigan to the late David and late Amalia (Schimpf) Reppuhn. She grew up in Saginaw and worked for many years at JC Penney's until her retirement in 1992. Lillian married Fred E. Haenlein on July 14th, 1947 and he preceded her in death in 2018. She was a member of Hopevale Church where she enjoyed singing in the choir, teaching Sunday School, and volunteering with church activities. Lillian is forever loved by her children Sandra (Don) Hales, Bradley (Mary) Haenlein, Kathy (Tim) Shaner, and Fred (Michele) Haenlein; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; sisters Johanna Keller and Donna McClymont; and as a fond aunt to several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by sisters Mary Hartman, Kate Swoverland, Martha Haenlein-Boese, and Helena Dupuis; brothers David Reppuhn, Gottfred Reppuhn, Edwin Reppuhn, and Richard Reppuhn. Lillian will be laid to rest at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in a private family ceremony. In lieu of flowers, those making an expression of sympathy may wish to consider Hopevale Church, 4873 N.
