Lucille Patricia Rokosz
November 11, 1932 - April 3, 2022
Lucille Patricia Rokosz, 89, of Pinconning, our kind, generous and most loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and loyal friend was born into eternal life in the early morning on Sunday, April 3, 2022 at the Toni and Trish House, surrounded by her family. Lucille was born on November 11, 1932 to the late William and Rose (LaBow) Holbrook in Bay City. She married the love of her life, Leonard Rokosz, on March 26, 1951. Sadly, he predeceased her on July 1, 2008. Together they shared over 57 years and countless memories. Lucille was a devoted homemaker who always put her family first. She had a huge heart, especially for children. Lucille was a great cook. She was a devout Catholic and longtime parishoner at St. Michael's Parish in Pinconning. In the last 14 months, it was the pleasure of her children to be able to return the love and support she gave them after all those years. The pain and suffering were difficult for Lucille to endure, but being able to have at least one of her children staying with her day and night was a great blessing. Lucille's love will live on in the hearts of many for years to come. "Mom, we know you worried about us taking care of you and if it was burdensome, but that was never the case. We knew you didn't want to die alone, so being able to be there for you until the end was difficult to watch. However, it was our way of showing appreciation and love to you. Enjoy heaven with dad now and be at peace. We miss you. We love you..." To carry on her legacy, Lucille leaves her children, Linda (Ralph) Aultman, Leonard (Wendy) Rokosz Jr., Loreen Gies, Lee (Rodha) Rokosz, Lonnie (Marie) Rokosz, and Lisa (Scott) McCaul; grandchildren, Layla (John) Adams, Vanessa (Mike) Piestrack, Scott (Victoria) VanOchten, Brian (Jessica) Rokosz, Brad (Shawn) Rokosz, Matt Rokosz, Steven Rokosz (fiance, Joanna), Keith (Lauren) Rokosz, Brandon (Ashley) Dolney, Nicole (Dustin) Tomczak, and Brianne Dolney (Paul Jacobs); great-grandchildren, Jayce, John Jr., Justin, Thomas, Samuel, Kristen, Teegan, Ryder, Ainsley, Kenzie, Roman, Rocco, Harrison, Beckham, Jameson, Saylor, and Winifred; sister, Pauline Buffman; brother, Mick Holbrook; sister-in-law, Charlotte Tootie Holbrook, and special friend, Frances Golombek. In addition to her parents and loving husband, Lucille was welcomed home to Heaven by her many siblings. Private arrangements have been entrusted to Skorupski Family Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 821 N. Pine Rd., between Ridge and Center. Memorial contributions may be directed to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Toni and Trish House. Expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.skorupskis.com.
