Marjorie Ann Badour, 83, of Munger, our hardworking and devoted mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend was born into eternal life on Thursday, May 28, 2020 at McLaren Bay Region. Marge was born in Bay County on October 14, 1936, the daughter of the late Raymond and Lillian (Knight) Stefanski. She married Derald “Dick” A. Badour on April 26, 1952. Dick preceded Marge in death after 60 years of marriage on December 21, 2012. Throughout life, Marge was known for her strong work ethic and wonderful cooking talents – her turkey legs were always a family favorite. She also enjoyed gardening, but above all else, Marge’s family always came first. Marge leaves to carry on her legacy, her children, Gale Badour, Christine (David) VanOoteghem, Allan (Donna) Badour, Scott Badour, and Susan (Matt) Dyjak. She was the proud and loving grandmother of Nicole (Tim) Ciesielski, Ryan Badour, Jennifer (Matt) Bouvy, Kelly VanOoteghem, Cabri (BJ) Prime, Cameron Badour (Samantha), and Jordan Dyjak (Kristen Keinath). Also surviving Marge are her great-grandchildren, Lauren, Grant, Corbin, Carson, Colten, Cayden, Caleb, Gavin, and Logan; sister, Lorraine Claerhout; sisters-in-law, Mary Stefanski and Noreen Corrion, along with many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and her husband, Marge was preceded in death by her son, John F. Badour; daughter-in-law, Cindy Badour; brothers, Jerry Stefanski and Raymond “Buck” Stefanski; brothers-in-law, Jim Claerhout and Ray Corrion, and father-in-law and mother-in-law, George Sr. and Evelyn (Tacey) Badour. The Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, June 3, 2020 at St. Jude Thaddeus Parish (St. John the Evangelist Church), 614 Pine St., Essexville. Fr. Dale Orlik will officiate with the Rite of Committal to follow in Wisner Twp. Cemetery. Visiting will be after 10:00 AM on Wednesday at church.
