Melissa Anne Jones Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Melissa Anne Jones, 48, of Bay City, our loving and giving daughter, sister, aunt, and friend, passed away on the morning of Saturday, December 11, 2021, at Covenant Hospital Harrison. Melissa was born in Bay City on May 17, 1973, the daughter of Donald and Susan (Sielschott) Jones. She graduated from Bay City Central with the class of 1991. She worked many years as a caretaker for Adult Foster Care facilities. Melissa loved to help the needy by crocheting blankets, hats, and gloves to donate to the local homeless shelter and those in need. She loved all animals especially her cats. Melissa leaves to carry on her legacy her parents, Donald and Susan Jones; brothers, Anthony (Rene) Jones, Donald II (Stephanie) Jones; half-sister, Kimberly Hamell; nieces and nephews, Elizabeth (Kyle) Pinnell, Michael, Ty, Caleb, Breyson and Blake Jones; and great-nieces, Madilynn and Bristol Pinnell. She was preceded in death by her grandparents and many aunts and uncles. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to all the staff and physicians at the Covenant Harrison Hospital and Ascension St. Mary’s Hospital.
