December 19, 1950 - January 17, 2022
Nancy Ann Lynch, 71, of Munger, our strong, courageous, and most dedicated mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and loyal friend passed away unexpectedly on Monday, January 17, 2022 at her residence. Nancy was born in Flint on December 19, 1950, the daughter of the late Ernest W. and Anna B. (Pettit) Goddard. She was a 1968 graduate of Bay City Central High School. On June 21, 1969, Nancy was united in marriage to the love of her life, Perry L. Lynch. Sadly, Perry preceded Nancy in death in 2011. Always one to stay busy, Nancy worked many places throughout her lifetime. She was a licensed beautician, caterer, worked at Wendy’s, and greatly enjoyed her time as a dietician with Bay County Division on Aging. Very patriotic, Nancy had a true love for the U.S.A. and enjoyed supporting the American Legion, Walleye for Warriors, Yellow Ribbon Guard, and any veteran’s organization. She loved to cook, camp, and volunteer for various veteran programs. Above all, Nancy loved time spent with her family and friends. Her kind and loving ways will forever live on. To carry on her legacy, Nancy leaves her daughter, Carissa “Carrie” A. Reed and her husband, Bradley; grandchildren, Caleb (Rachael) Reed, Mackenzie (Adam) Moretuzzo, Chloe Reed, Kiley Lumsden, Anthony Hunt, and Tyler and Anna Matthews; sisters, Shirley Austin and Sheila (Harley) Davis; sister-in-law, Sue Goddard, along with many special cousins, nieces, nephews, many bonus children and grandchildren, and her lifelong friends, Rich and Jean Poole, Jeff Badour, and Leona Cobb. In addition to her parents and her husband, Nancy was welcomed home to Heaven by her daughter, Jennifer L. Lynch; brother, Ernie Goddard; sister, Charlene “Char” Rittmaier, and brother-in-law, Timothy Austin. Nancy’s family will be present to receive visitors on Tuesday, January 25, 2022 from 4:00 PM until Nancy’s 6:00 PM Funeral Ceremony at Skorupski Family Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 821 N. Pine Rd., between Ridge & Center. Her son-in-law, Pastor Bradley Reed will officiate with cremation to follow.
