Nancy Lee Green

June 7, 1947 - February 5, 2022

Nancy Lee Green, 74, of Saginaw, our loving, caring, bubbly and compassionate, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend, passed away peacefully on February 5, 2022, with her loving husband at her side. Nancy was born on June 7, 1947, to the late Fred and Eva (Buel) Ferguson in Saginaw. Nancy graduated from American High School in Chicago, Illinois and went on to receive her nursing degree and license from College of Lake County in Grayslake, Illinois. While skating with friends at the Saginaw ice rink, she met Kenneth Green; they dated, fell in love and were united in marriage on March 7, 1966. They enjoyed over 55 years of marriage. Nancy become a registered nurse in 1973 and was dedicated to her skills in nursing for over forty years. Nancy was baptized a Southern Baptist and later became a member of the Wesleyan Church. When Nancy wasn’t busy caring for others, she enjoyed knitting, bowling, and reading. Nancy is survived by her husband, Kenneth Green Sr.; their children, Kenneth (Carolee) Green Jr., Kevin (April) Green and David Green; grandchildren, Justin, Andrew, Renee, Abbie, Amber, Haley, Caylee, Emily, Nicholas, Alexis, Christopher, Joslynn, Arianna and Aaliyah; many great grandchildren; her siblings, Judy Johnson, Elsie Sweet, Fred Ferguson Jr., Delores Lobretto; in-laws, Peter Green, Betty Woods and Andrea Green, son-in-law, Brian Parsons, and many nieces and nephews. Along with her parents, Nancy was preceded in death by her daughter, Kimberly Parsons. Nancy’s family will be present to receive visitors on Saturday, February 12, 2022, from 9:00 AM until 12:00 PM at Skorupski Family Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 821 N. Pine Rd., between Ridge & Center. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens . Memorial contributions may be directed to the wishes of the family.
