July 21, 1967 - September 28, 2021
Pastor Tracy Roland Choyce, 54, of Essexville, our loving, caring, generous, and most devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin, pastor, and fiercely loyal friend went home to be with his Lord and Savior on the morning of Tuesday, September 28, 2021 at McLaren Bay Region. Pastor Tracy was born in Saginaw on July 21, 1967, the son of Lawrence Walker and the former Shirley Choyce. He was a 1985 graduate of Saginaw High School. While working at Vlasic, he happened to meet the former Tenesha Holmes. They dated, fell in love, and were united in marriage on August 24, 1996 and recently celebrated their 25 year wedding anniversary. Pastor Tracy retired from Normandy Square Apartments in Saginaw, where he truly was a “Jack of All Trades.” In his free time, he enjoyed basketball and fishing in his younger years. A true car enthusiast, Pastor Tracy was a Cadillac and Mercedes-Benz enthusiast. More recently, he was a L.O.L. Surprise! Fan alongside his girls. He cared for and loved his ten children deeply, and with all his heart and soul. A true family man, he always was there to help family, friends, and anyone in need. With a special place in his heart for the poor, homeless, and less fortunate, Pastor Tracy always connected with everyone, and from every walk of life. Pastor Tracy was the faithful pastor of Sabbath Church Ministry and also practiced his faith at Victorious Believers Ministries in Saginaw. Tracy was passionate about preaching and bringing God to others. His biblical, spiritual, and loving ways will forever live on. Pastor Tracy will be deeply missed, yet lovingly remembered for years to come. To carry on his legacy, Pastor Tracy leaves behind his loving wife, Tenesha Choyce; ten children, Tracy Dickson, Tracy Fritz, Jr., Lawrence Choyce, Christopher (Shamira) Holmes, Joshua Choyce, Jeremiah Choyce, Destiny Choyce (Michael Black), Jonah Choyce, Eternity “EB” Choyce, and Trinity “TB” Choyce; mother and step-father, Shirley and Roland Turner; siblings, Teresa Choyce, Tony Choyce, Ulanda (Ricky) Fields, Sevella Allen, Lee Dale Walker, and Linda Banks; mother-in-law, Debra Holmes; father-in-law, Melvin Holmes, along with many grandchildren, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Pastor Tracy was welcomed home to Heaven by his father, Lawrence Walker; brother, Kenny Choyce; maternal grandparents, Gillis and Ida Mae Choyce; paternal grandparents, Mammon and Josie Walker, and uncles, Victor and Leon Choyce.
