Randy Joseph Beach
January 10, 1958 - September 23, 2021
Randy Joseph Beach, 63, of Bay City, our happy-go-lucky son, brother, uncle, and most loyal friend passed away on the evening of Thursday, September 23, 2021. Randy was born in Bay City on January 10, 1958, the son of Arthur Beach and the former Ruth Sobek. He graduated from Akron-Fairgrove High School and went on to work for Euclid Auto and Michigan Sugar. He was also employed by URG and Kroger in Waterford. Randy loved enjoying Michigan's great outdoors. Be it up north camping, boating, fishing, or hunting, he was a true outdoorsman through and through. He also enjoyed bowling and an occasional trip to the casino. In his younger years, he was active with the Knights of Columbus. His kind ways will live on in the hearts of his family and friends for years to come. To carry on his legacy, Randy leaves behind his mother, Ruth Beach; sister, Debbie (Bruce Raymond) Castongway; nieces, Staci and Kristy Castongway; great-nieces and great-nephews, who were the lights of his life: Seth Moore, Jackson Cole, Kai Hardie, Samuel Hardie, Tay-Shawn Berry, and Ellianna Barry; aunt, Gladys Burk, and uncle, James Sobek. Randy was welcomed home to heaven by his father, Arthur Beach aunt, Nancy Talaga; uncle, Richard Sobek, along with Marlene Grahm, his faithful companion of 20 years who passed away sadly in March of 2021. Randy's family will be present to receive visitors on Saturday, October 2, 2021, from 10:00 AM until Randy's 2:00 PM Life Celebration at Skorupski Family Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 821 N. Pine Rd., between Ridge & Center. Fr. Dale Orlik will officiate with cremation to follow. Memorial contributions may be directed to the wishes of the family.
