September 4, 1963 - March 21, 2021
Bob Rybak, 57, of Essexville, our loving, helpful, and fun-loving husband, father, son, brother, uncle, and most loyal friend passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, March 21, 2021. Bob was born in Bay City on September 4, 1963, the son of Bob Rybak and Joyce Anne Brown. Bob was the rock of the family and the glue that always held everyone together. He was a 1982 graduate of Bay City Central. Always one with a strong work ethic, Bob started as a paper boy, eventually became the district manager of Hungry Howie’s Pizza in Florida and was a manager of a car dealership as well. He found his most rewarding job at Beltone, where he loved being able to help his patients. A true servant of the Lord, Bob was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church. He loved camping in the summer and cruising around in his 1978 Firebird, which was his pride and joy, along with singing and listening to his records. Always social and on-the-go, Bob will forever be remembered for his well-rounded and easy-going personality. Bob loved all of his family and friends more than life itself. Above all, Bob was a devoted family man and cherished them all very much. He will be deeply missed, yet lovingly remembered for generations to come. Bob leaves to carry on his legacy, his wife of 37 years, the former Laura Lewandowski; children, Bobby Rybak, Michael Rybak, Josh (Kelsey) Rybak; mother, Joyce Anne Brown; siblings, Kelly Rybak, Stacey (Matt) Smorch, Heather (Jeff) Butcher, and Ron (Penny) Rybak, along with his father-in-law, Jim Lewandowski; sister-in-law, Debbie (Keith) Costner, and many special nieces, nephews, and friends. Bob was preceded in death by his father, Bob Rybak; step-father, Fred Brown; sister, Laura Rybak, and mother-in-law, Loretta Lewandowski. Bob’s family will be present to receive visitors on Friday, March 26, 2021 from 3:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Skorupski Family Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 821 N. Pine Rd., between Ridge & Center. Cremation will follow. Memorial contributions may be directed to the wishes of the family. Expressions of sympathy may be shared with the family online at www.skorupskis.com.
