Rodolfo Ruiz Morales Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Rodolfo “Rudy” Ruiz Morales, 80, of Bay City, our strong-willed, loving and compassionate father, grandfather, brother and loyal friend was born into eternal life in the morning of Thursday, June 2, 2022 at McLaren Bay Special Care Facility with his family by his side. Rudy was born on August 25, 1941 to the late Maria Guerrero in Roscoe, Texas. After high school, he courageously joined the United States Marine Corps and was part of the military police. Rudy completed his service and moved to Michigan. He was a carpenter with local 706 for over 40 years, and also held his scaffolding license. Rudy was a faithful parishioner of All Saints Parish – St. Boniface Church. He could regularly be found watching sports, especially football and baseball, always rooting for the Detroit Lions and Tigers and Michigan State. GO GREEN! While Rudy loved sports, nothing compared to the love he had for his family. Family was incredibly important to him, together they shared many loving memories. Rudy’s memory and heart of gold will live on for years to come. Leaving to carry Rudy’s legacy are his daughter, Tammie Morales (Mike Schultz); his grandsons, Matthew and Donnie Weismiller and Lance Morales; his siblings, Charlie (Adri) Guerrero, David Guerrero, Marcos (Maria) Guerrero, Virginia Guerrero, Mary Guerrero, Rosie Garza, Janie Guerrero, Ylia (Lee) Guerrero-Gray, Roberta Gonzalez and Elvira Olvera. In addition to his mother, Rudy was welcomed home to Heaven by his grandparents who raised him, Concho and Rosalia Morales Sr., and siblings, Concho Morales Jr., Morris Morales Sr., Albert Morales Sr., Jesse Morales Sr., Jimmy Morales Sr., and Betty Torres. Private arrangements have been entrusted to Skorupski Family Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 821 N. Pine Rd., between Ridge & Center.
