Stanley Earle Anderson

Stanley Earle Anderson, 84, of Saginaw, passed away on April 6, 2020 at St. Mary’s Ascension Hospital in Saginaw. Stan was born on January 28, 1936 to parents Stanley Ellsworth Anderson and Mary Edith (Bolton) Anderson in the city of Saginaw, and remained a lifelong resident of that city. He was a graduate of Arthur Hill High School, and then went on to GMI (now Kettering Institute), where he studied automotive engineering. He was a U.S. Navy veteran and enjoyed a long rewarding career at Saginaw Steering Gear as an Automotive Engineer, specializing in the design of power steering pumps and fluid actuators. Stan retired in 1996, and enjoyed deer hunting, working on projects in his workshop, tending to his immaculate yard, and spending time at his cabin. Stan was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Betty Lee Snow. He is survived by his nephews Robert Hemmer of Cheboygan and Bruce Hemmer of Wolverine. Also surviving are his great-niece and nephews, Mackenzie, John, and Jeff Hemmer, all of Wolverine. Cremation has taken place, Stan's family will be present to receive visitors on Friday, June 26, 2020, from 1:30 PM until the time of his 3:00 PM Memorial Ceremony at Skorupski Family Funeral Home (formerly Reitz-Herzberg), 1550 Midland Rd., between State & Gratiot.
