Thomas Kirby Casault Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Thomas Kirby Casault, 78, of Essexville, our humorous and loving husband, brother, and friend passed away on the afternoon of Tuesday, June 7, 2022, at McLaren Bay Region. Tom was born on October 15, 1943, in Bay City to the late Maurice "Bedo" and Irene (Zann) Casault. He graduated from Bay City Central. After graduation, Tom attended Saginaw Valley State University where he earned his bachelor's degree. Following his education, he enlisted into the United States Army, proudly serving in the Vietnam War until his honorable discharge on April 24, 1970. Tom and Mary Wojewoda were united in marriage on June 1, 1974. Both Tom and Mary were the owners and operators of the Paperworks in downtown Bay City for 29 years. He loved football and could not wait for the season to begin. His favorite teams were the Detroit Lions, the University of Michigan, and Michigan State University. Tom liked to gamble a little at the casino and enjoyed spending time outside and working in the yard. He always liked to remodel in the home, but Mary always had the last say. His home improvement skills he can thank his dad for. To carry on his legacy, Tom leaves his beloved wife of 48 years, Mary Casault; his brother, who he looked up to, Bill (Mary) Casault; sisters and brothers-in-law, Anne and Terry Kubasiak, Alice and Steve Clinkston, and Julie and Bob Kozuch; many nieces, nephews, cousins, and his furry friend, Iris. In addition to his parents, Tom was preceded in death by his mother and father-in-law, Julian and Marie Wojewoda. In accordance with Tom's wishes, cremation has taken place. Private arrangements have been entrusted to Skorupski Family Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 821 N. Pine Rd., between Ridge & Center.
