William Charles Reichenbach, 83, of Bay City, our caring, genuine, entertaining, and devoted husband, father, papa, brother, uncle, and friend passed away on August 26, 2020 at Brian’s House. Bill was born on December 29, 1936 in Bay City, the son of the late William and Eleanor (Arndt) Reichenbach. Bill graduated from Bay City Central High School and went on to serve in the U.S. Navy as a Petty Officer 3rd Class Fireman aboard the U.S.S. Tarawa Aircraft Carrier. Bill worked at GM Powertrain in Bay City where he retired from. On April 5, 1986, Bill married the love of his life, the former Kathleen Leonard. Together they shared over 34 years and countless memories. He was a proud hospice volunteer and duck hunting guide. Throughout life Bill enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing cards, reading, puttering around, and above all, spending time surrounded by his family. He will be missed dearly. Bill leaves to cherish his memory, his wife Kat; children, Ellie (Nate) Franklin, Bill (Irene) Reichenbach, and Angela (Kevin) Street; son-in-law, Ben Pillars; grandchildren, Danielle (Dan) Spiekerman, Braydon (fiancé, Britteny Simmons) Duby, Brian Guay, Shelly Omeara, Brandon Aldridge, and Brittny (fiancé, Deon Martin) Tesner; 14 great-grandchildren; sister, Barbara Sursely; mother-in-law, Evelyn “Darlene” Leonard; brothers and sisters – in- law, Terry (George) Reid, Dan (Lynn) Leonard, Lon (Carolyn) Leonard, Debra (Dave) Flora, Linda Piacente, and Jeff (Judy) Leonard, along with many nieces, nephews, and friends. In addition to his parents, Bill was welcomed home to heaven by his daughter, Kathleen Pillars. Due to COVID-19 restrictions a private family Funeral Ceremony will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, August 31, 2020, you can livestream the funeral by clicking on the following link https://client.tribucast.com/tcid/71688482. Bill’s family will be present to receive visitors on Monday, August 31, 2020 from 12:00 Noon until 2:00 PM at Skorupski Family Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 821 N.
